Description

Since adoption in 2014, the Mali RMNCAH scorecard identified some issues within reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health in the country.

During the pandemic, Mali also used the RMNCAH scorecard to monitor potential impact of COVID-19 on important health services.

Thanks to the awareness raised by the RMNCAH scorecard during the pandemic, Mali has seen improvements in the:

  • rate of deliveries in health facilities
  • distribution of long-lasting insecticide treated nets
  • effective antenatal care
