In 2016, ALMA in partnership with WHO, Measure Evaluation, AMREF, PMI, PATH, CHAI, MSH and Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) supported the Ministry of Health in the development of Malaria Scorecard for accountability and action.

The Eswatini malaria scorecard was first produced in 2015 and has been updated regularly.

The National Malaria Control and Elimination Scorecard for accountability was first developed in Burkina Faso in 2017.

The Rwanda malaria scorecard was initiated with support from ALMA in October 2017 and tracks progress of indicators that reflect the country's priorities and objectives.

The malaria scorecard was launched in 2018 and is shared with political and technical leaders every quarter.
