The Democratic Republic of the Congo launched their malaria youth corps in December 2023.

In April 2022, the Kingdom of Eswatini launched the Eswatini End Malaria Youth Corps.

Kenya

In July 2021, Kenya launched the first national malaria youth corps on the continent. His Excellency, Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya and ALMA Chair from January 2020 to August 2022, unveiled the malaria youth corps with a launch ceremony in the town of Kilifi, Kenya.

Mozambique

The Mozambique Malaria Youth Corps was established in April 2023 and launched by the permanent secretary of the county’s youth secretariat.
